Job description

As a UX Content Design Manager at the Instapro Group, you will truly understand our customers on both sides of our digital marketplace to create solutions that meet their various needs and exceed their expectations - all while delivering on the company's mission and strategy. You will shape how our customers interact with our company and product both now and in the future.

In this role, you will define our content strategy across the user journey and grow the content design discipline within the company. You will provide content design leadership and direction for multiple product teams working across responsive web, app and our UX systems.

Your role includes the following:

  • Manage, coach and develop a team of talented UX Content Designers

  • Write and design useful, meaningful and consistent content for our end-to-end product as well as other touch points. This includes product interface language, navigational nomenclature, emails, notifications, terminology glossaries, taxonomies, etc.

  • Test and measure your content to ensure it's impactful and optimised

  • Use data from a variety of sources to make evidence-based decisions, weigh the impact and tradeoffs of those decisions and seek input where needed to drive alignment

  • Help shape the company Tone of Voice and build, maintain and evolve content guidelines to create a cohesive language system

  • Manage the localisation and translation strategy, processes and tooling to ensure our product copy is effective with customers in multiple markets

  • Perform regular analysis and review of existing content to ensure quality

Job requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a UX Content Designer, User Experience Writer or in a similar role - writing and structuring copy for digital products

  • 2+ years experience managing content design professionals

  • Native level fluency in English, both written and verbal

  • Written fluency in Dutch, German or French is a plus

  • Able to easily move between defining the bigger picture of content strategy, information architecture and storytelling and getting deep into the microcopy details and systematic thinking

  • Proficient in UX tooling such as Figma and copy translation software

  • Experienced in creating copy that is inclusive, accessible and resonates with a diverse audience

  • Skilled at managing several projects simultaneously

  • Creative, open to learning new things and embracing diverse ideas

Do you offer remote work?

You need to already be based in one of our office locations or be willing to relocate to one of them.

We have a hybrid-work policy, which means that it’s up to you whether you prefer to work onsite or feel more comfortable working from home. However, in some roles, we might be looking for people living in the same region. You can have a look at what locations we are active in via the button below.

Do you offer a relocation package and visa sponsorship?

Yes and yes.

For applicants relocating to our German or Dutch offices, we provide financial relocation assistance and step-by-step guidance to support you in your relocation journey.

We also provide visa sponsorship for our German and Dutch offices. Currently, visa sponsorship for the French office is not possible.

What does an interviewing process generally look like?

Our interviewing processes can slightly differ depending on the department. The three things that are consistent across every process are a talk with the hiring manager in the early phase of the process, a team interview in the middle, and a culture interview at a later phase of the process.
