Job description

This role is initially being offered on a 24 month (maternity cover) contract basis, with the possibility of extension.


As CRM Manager, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, evaluating and optimising automated and one-off email campaigns to increase customer engagement & retention. You will report to the Head of CRM and work together with colleagues throughout the entire organisation on a case-by-case basis.

Situated in the marketing department, Instapro Group’s CRM Team is responsible for email marketing campaigns for tradespeople and homeowners in our six European markets. We collaborate closely with our colleagues in the product team on transactional email and push campaigns along the entire customer lifecycle; from onboarding to retention & reactivation.


Our CRM Stack includes:
Marketing Automation: Iterable, Mailchimp, OneSignal & Zapier
Template creation: Taxi for Email
Ideation: Figma & Miro
Reporting & Analytics: Redshift, Looker

Your role includes the following:

  • Implementing transactional & marketing email campaigns for tradespeople and homeowners including template creation, building workflows & testing

  • Segmentation and personalisation

  • Tracking & reporting of KPI

  • A/B testing and optimisation of CRM cycles and email campaigns

  • Collaborating with relevant teams such as product, data engineering, UX, operations, brand marketing & analytics to make new campaigns possible

Job requirements

  • 1-2 years experience in CRM, marketing automation and/or email marketing, ideally in a platform/subscription business

  • Experience in template creation, journey building, segmentation & knowledge of email best practices

  • Experience in using marketing automation tools such as Braze or Salesforce Marketing Cloud. Experience with Iterable is a strong plus

  • Experience in A/B testing & campaign optimization

  • Knowledge of common marketing tracking practices

  • Comfortable working in a remote-first matrix organisation and in cross-functional teams

  • Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset. Great ability to work with data

  • Professional English language skills. German, French, Dutch or Italian language skills are nice to have

Some additional “nice to have” skills, but not a requirement to apply:

  • Experience with one or more of our CRM Stack tools

  • CSS/HTML (for email adjustments)

  • Experience with push notifications & SMS

  • Working knowledge of relevant data protection laws e.g. GDPR

Do you offer remote work?

You need to already be based in one of our office locations or be willing to relocate to one of them.

We have a hybrid-work policy, which means that it’s up to you whether you prefer to work onsite or feel more comfortable working from home. However, in some roles, we might be looking for people living in the same region. You can have a look at what locations we are active in via the button below.

Do you offer a relocation package and visa sponsorship?

Yes and yes.

For applicants relocating to our German or Dutch offices, we provide financial relocation assistance and step-by-step guidance to support you in your relocation journey.

We also provide visa sponsorship for our German and Dutch offices. Currently, visa sponsorship for the French office is not possible.

What does an interviewing process generally look like?

Our interviewing processes can slightly differ depending on the department.
