Job description

As a Customer Support Representative at MyHammer, you will be part of a 14 person multicultural team with one common goal: making sure all users have a good experience using our platform. We help our customers resolve their issues, turn unhappy users into happy customers and encourage repeat use of our service.

You will perform tasks independently and collaborate with other teams across the business, in order to help our Homeowners and Tradespeople to get the most of using our platform and provide support when needed. 

Our Customer Support Team works in a hybrid model and the Customer Support is open Monday through Friday, no weekends.


After training, your tasks will be as follows:

  • Receiving and responding to customer inquiries received through various channels (phone, email, contact form)

  • Making outbound calls to assist our customers in using our platform

  • Manage and validate customer inquiries through Salesforce while adhering to goals, guidelines, and deadlines set by your team leader

  • You provide feedback on the efficiency of customer service processes

Job requirements

  • First professional experience in customer service.

  • You have a positive and professional attitude. Your empathetic approach is used to help our customers.

  • You are a natural team player and are able to adapt quickly, as required by the needs of the business and customers

  • You are familiar with CRM systems and procedures.

  • You are confident with the use of computers (Google Suite, Microsoft Office).

  • Native level German language skills is a requirement.

  • Good English language skills, at least B2 level.

Do you offer remote work?

You need to already be based in one of our office locations or be willing to relocate to one of them.

We have a hybrid-work policy, which means that it’s up to you whether you prefer to work onsite or feel more comfortable working from home. However, in some roles, we might be looking for people living in the same region. You can have a look at what locations we are active in via the button below.

Do you offer a relocation package and visa sponsorship?

Yes and yes.

For applicants relocating to our German or Dutch offices, we provide financial relocation assistance and step-by-step guidance to support you in your relocation journey.

We also provide visa sponsorship for our German and Dutch offices. Currently, visa sponsorship for the French office is not possible.

What does an interviewing process generally look like?

Our interviewing processes can slightly differ depending on the department. The three things that are consistent across every process are a talk with the hiring manager in the early phase of the process, a team interview in the middle, and a culture interview at a later phase of the process.
