Instapro Group is seeking an experienced and driven Senior Project Manager (New markets & Expansion) to oversee the daily activities of Instapro’s new market initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the start-up and scale-up phase of new business lines and enable new country launches.


You will help shape the vision and strategy for this recently founded team, but you also have to be able to execute swiftly and solve problems as they arise. In this role, you will report to the Director of New Markets, but you will be interfacing directly with department leaders across the organisation.


The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind with good and flexible problem-solving skills to adapt, identify and rectify day-to-day operational issues that arise within our new market initiatives. You should have experience working with functional departments such as Customer Service, Product, Marketing, Legal and Finance.


You should have a solid understanding of online products, ideally within a marketplace setting. Additionally, you’ll display a proven ability to develop and maintain an environment of trust, diversity, and inclusion. Most importantly, you have the desire to work in a high-paced and fast changing environment that brings you joy when you see yourself making a positive impact.


Your role includes the following: 

  • Partner with product, tech & UX (PTU), Customer Service and Marketing departments to launch & help optimise new products and enter new markets

  • Own and implement projects from conceptualisation to execution and tracking

  • Develop, test and optimise business & customer service processes to drive success with these new initiatives and ensure our customer service teams work effectively

  • Maintain constant communication with management, key departmental partners & teams of customer service agents to ensure the success of new products & businesses

  • Develop, implement & maintain lean quality assurance protocols in an entrepreneurial environment

  • Understand Instapro’s business & strategy quickly to communicate to teams how new initiatives fit into strategy & participate in strategic & tactical dialogue

  • Ensure timely data collection, analyse key metrics to achieve our targets and change course when needed

Job requirements

  • 5+ years of business experience

  • 3+ years of experience in technology companies

  • Exceptional project/stakeholder management and problem solving skills

  • Experience & familiarity with product & UX design, development & management

  • Knowledge of general business software and aptitude to learn new applications; proficiency in Google docs, sheets & slides

  • Advanced analytical skills, at least with Google Spreadsheets/Excel, ideally experienced with SQL and/or Looker

  • Objective & evidence-based mindset & ability to operate within an evidence-based organisation

  • Fluent in English with strong written English language skills. Fluency in German, French, Dutch, Italian, and other European languages is a plus

  • Experience in innovative technology companies (startup experience ideal) & experience in marketplaces is a plus

What does an interviewing process generally look like?

Our interviewing processes can differ slightly depending on the department.
