Job description

As a UX Researcher at the Instapro Group, you will partner with internal departments to push our user experience forward. For this, you will collect and centralize knowledge, build and execute research plans, analyze data, and leverage contacts through networking. Your role will be strongly involved in ideation processes, ethnographic research, as well as qualitative and quantitative research.


In this role, you will directly work as part of a multidisciplinary team (Engineers, Product managers, Designers), where you will be defining strategies and initiatives as a team. You will also be part of an international UX Team with UX researchers, and UX & Content Designers working from France, the Netherlands and Germany.


Your role includes the following:

  • You will own and set research objectives as well as create generative and evaluative studies, choosing efficient methodologies (qualitative and/or quantitative) to answer your team’s product and UX research questions

  • You will build and execute research plans, analyze and synthesize insights and present learnings to the relevant stakeholders in a clear and actionable way they can use to design product improvements

  • You will document and track learnings gathered through testing and research so insights can easily be referenced and applied in future projects as well as to gain a shared understanding of our user across studies to identify patterns and knowledge gaps

Job requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in anthropology, human-computer interaction (HCI), human factors, psychology, sociology, a related field or equivalent practical experience

  • 3 years of experience leading research initiatives in a product environment

  • You need to be both fluent in German to be able to conduct research with our German customers and in English for internal communication

  • Experience with qualitative and quantitative research as well as agile/lean methodologies to choose the best methods for planning & execution of user research projects

  • You apply high-quality standards to your work and combine this with a solution-oriented approach and the necessary pragmatism.

  • You are an absolute team player and like to work collaboratively in a team environment

Do you offer remote work?

You need to already be based in one of our office locations or be willing to relocate to one of them.

We have a hybrid-work policy, which means that it’s up to you whether you prefer to work onsite or feel more comfortable working from home. However, in some roles, we might be looking for people living in the same region. You can have a look at what locations we are active in via the button below.

Do you offer a relocation package and visa sponsorship?

Yes and yes.

For applicants relocating to our German or Dutch offices, we provide financial relocation assistance and step-by-step guidance to support you in your relocation journey.

We also provide visa sponsorship for our German and Dutch offices. Currently, visa sponsorship for the French office is not possible.

What does an interviewing process generally look like?

Our interviewing processes can slightly differ depending on the department. The three things that are consistent across every process are a talk with the hiring manager in the early phase of the process, a team interview in the middle, and a culture interview at a later phase of the process.
