We are seeking a talented junior commercial lawyer to partner with and support our European and UK teams with a broad range of local and international commercial issues. Reporting to the Chief Legal Officer and working closely alongside our legal team, this role offers the right candidate a chance to work on a wide range of issues and topics that will help shape our business.
This is a hybrid role with opportunities to work full-time (Mon-Fri) or part-time (3.5-4 days/ week)
Your role includes the following:
Advising our EU and UK internal teams on a wide range of legal matters with a focus on commercial topics
Contract reviews
Assisting with the process, co-ordination and project management of matters
Monitoring legislative developments to help ensure compliance with EU and UK laws
Supporting preparation of resources to promote legal awareness and compliance within the business
Qualified lawyer and have at least 2 years of experience with a reputable law firm or in-house
Fluent in English
A true generalist, having advised on a variety of topics with a strong understanding of commercial and privacy laws
Excellent communications and negotiation skills
Pragmatic and commercial approach to legal matters
At ease working in an international environment with multicultural backgrounds
Eagerness to find innovative solutions supporting key business goals
Tech-savvy and demonstrates an interest in adopting legal tech tools to increase efficiency
Ideally, experience with fast-growing companies, either as an external advisor or in-house counsel
