Job description

Open in all locations: France, Germany, the Netherlands, and the United Kingdom

As a Product Design Manager at the Instapro Group, you will truly understand our customers on both sides of our digital marketplace to create solutions that meet their various needs and exceed their expectations - all while delivering on the company's mission and strategy. You will shape how our customers interact with our company and product both now and in the future.

In this role, you will advocate for the voice of the customer and foster a shared understanding of user-centred design within the organisation. You will provide leadership and direction for several product teams working across responsive web, app and our UX systems.

Your role includes the following:

  • Manage, coach and develop a team of talented Product Designers

  • Work effectively side-by-side with your Product and Tech counterparts to build high-performing product teams that deliver customer value and business results

  • Use data from a variety of sources to make evidence-based decisions, weigh the impact and tradeoffs of those decisions and seek input where needed to drive alignment

  • Define a product design strategy and vision, develop supporting proof of concepts and create the plans for evolutionary, iterative changes that bring this larger vision to life

  • Work hands-on as needed to support your team in creating solutions. This could be developing flows, wireframes, layouts, facilitation guides, dashboards, etc.

  • Continuously improve our systems, processes, methodologies, best practices and tools

  • Impact the growth, operation, atmosphere and collaboration of the UX team as part of UX leadership

  • Monitor the quality of our experience and resolve any issues when our product touch points don't meet industry standards and/or user expectations

Job requirements

  • 8+ years of experience designing end-to-end UX or in a related field - meaning you have a significant amount of experience in discovering, defining and designing well-thought through and well-performing user experiences

  • 2+ years experience managing product design professionals

  • A demonstrated history of synthesizing quantitative and qualitative user data and insights and converting them into actionable solutions

  • Compelling communication, presentation, and storytelling skills with an ability to influence others at all levels of organisational audiences (in English)

  • Practical understanding (including capabilities and limitations) of current technologies and tools used to build experiences

  • Creative, open to learning new things and embracing diverse ideas

What does an interviewing process generally look like?

Our interviewing processes can differ slightly depending on the department. The best way to prepare for an elevator interview is to go over our values.
