At Instapro Group, the purpose of the platform teams is to enable other teams to work more effectively and produce a higher-quality product for our end users. As a Senior Technical Product Manager for the Platform Foundation team, you will guide the team on the mission to enable other teams in the company by developing the foundational components and tools.

This team consists of highly experienced backend engineers and is further supported by the Group Technical Product Manager, Engineering Manager, and an Agile Coach.


The domain of the team currently includes:

  • Tools & libraries for cross-service integration & communication

  • Internal application queueing & messaging system

  • Authentication mechanism & logic, cross-service authentication


Your role includes the following:

  • Together with the team and your stakeholders, create the long-term vision for the team that will support our business growth

  • Based on facts and data, build a strategy to achieve this vision, make sure it’s aligned with other teams and the company strategy, and communicate it clearly to management and stakeholders

  • Drive the execution of the strategy by prioritising the most impactful opportunities and setting meaningful OKRs

  • Ensure the team is making progress towards clearly defined goals by regularly reviewing the achieved results together with them

  • Promote and advocate for the tools and services the team is providing, create awareness about them across the organisation and drive the adoption in other teams

  • Bring business perspective, context and data to the team to help them craft suitable technical solutions for identified customer and business needs

  • Continuously communicate the status and outcomes of the team’s work to management, stakeholders and the whole organisation, translating technical solutions into business value for the company

  • Contribute to creating a safe environment for the empowered team

  • Together with the Group Technical Product Manager and other stakeholders, contribute to the technical strategy of the company

  • Mentor more junior Technical Product Managers

Job requirements

  • You have experience in backend/infrastructure engineering roles that gave you a good understanding of software and application architecture, distributed systems, underlying infrastructure, data storage and flows, authentication & authorisation mechanisms. You have knowledge of tools and best practices in this area

  • You have a proven track record in technical product management, preferrably in teams that deliver technical products, tools or services for internal use by other teams.

  • You have strong interpersonal and communication skills in English, both in written and oral form, which enable you to work well with people of different backgrounds in distributed and hybrid organisational setup with emphasis on a-synchronous information flows.

  • You have a lean mindset and have worked in agile product development environments

  • You are data-driven and have strong analytical skills

  • You have attention to detail. At the same time, you are able to see the big picture and think strategically

You need to based in one of our office locations or be willing to relocate to one of them.

We have a hybrid-work model, which means that it’s up to you whether you prefer to work onsite or feel more comfortable working from home.
