Job description

We are looking for a Senior Technical Product Manager to lead our Salesforce Platform Team (Foundation & Scalability). At Instapro Group, the purpose of the platform teams is to enable other teams to work more effectively and produce a higher-quality product for our end users.

In this role, you will define and drive the strategy for scaling, securing, and optimising our Salesforce platform to support critical business functions. You will partner closely with engineers, architects, the security team, adjacent product teams and business stakeholders to ensure platform stability, seamless deployments, and robust integrations. You will work collaboratively within an Agile environment, applying Agile methodologies to deliver changes iteratively with short feedback loops, and continuous improvement. Your ability to balance long-term strategic goals with day-to-day execution will be key in ensuring the success of our Salesforce platform. You will align with the Salesforce Solutions Team (Growth & Operations) which focus on customer-facing and operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the Salesforce platform strategy, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability.

  • Drive integrations between Salesforce and other systems, with focus on reliability and efficiency.

  • Ensure security and compliance, aligning with best practices and regulatory requirements.

  • Optimise platform operations, including environment management, monitoring, and governance.

  • Align technical capabilities with business goals, collaborating with engineering, security, and business teams.

  • Communicate trade-offs and priorities effectively to executive stakeholders.

  • Foster continuous improvement, driving best practices for platform health and performance.

  • Lead high-impact initiatives in a critical platform role that drives business scalability.

  • Work with a team of top-tier engineers & architects.

  • Shape the future of our Salesforce foundation, security, and automation strategy.

Job requirements

  • Proven experience: 7+ years in product management, including at least 3 years working hands-on with the Salesforce platform.

  • Salesforce expertise: Deep knowledge of Salesforce and a solid grasp of its architecture and specialised capabilities.

  • Strategic mindset: Able to think big-picture, align work with our company’s mission, vision, and strategic goals, and ensure consistent direction across domains.

  • Strong stakeholder management: Skilled at identifying key stakeholders, building trust, and aligning expectations across teams.

  • Data-informed decision making: Comfortable analysing user behaviour, performance metrics, and feedback to extract insights and validate product direction.

  • Influential communicator: Able to influence without authority by tailoring communication to suit different audiences and contexts.

  • Lean and agile: Applies lean thinking and agile principles effectively to deliver value iteratively and efficiently.

Nice to have

  • Background in large-scale systems integration and API management.

  • Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Platform App Builder, Advanced Administrator) are a plus.

Our interviewing processes can differ slightly depending on the department. The best way to prepare for an elevator interview is to go over our values.
